The GIS/Business Analytics Administrator is responsible for the technical management and maintenance of the City’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data, as well as integrating the city’s departmental and enterprise software to enhance business operations, efficiencies, and reporting initiatives. KCIT GIS Center is seeking a Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) Coordinator, and a key contributing engineer to the King County GIS Center’s many other projects. The MSAG Coordinator supports the work of the E-911 Program Office and is responsible for coordinating the maintenance of the Next Generation 911 (NG911) MSAG and Automatic Location Identification (ALI) database, to ensure that all address information and 911 call routing information is accurate. This includes coordinating with 11 Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), public safety agencies, city addressing authorities, multiple telephone companies, and the E-911/NG911 system service provider. This position works closely with other GIS engineers and analysts to ensure that the ALI database is synchronized with the E-911 geodatabase. This position also receives and resolves address and 911 call routing error reports from the PSAPs, and coordinates updates to the ALI database due to annexations and incorporations. This role will also be allocated, as time allows, to the KCGIS Spatial Services team’s projects, in support of our internal and external clients.
